RETREET is a program of Keep America Beautiful that redefines disaster relief by engaging communities to replant lost trees. 

On Saturday, March 8th, 2025, the RETREET team will be in Pottawatomie County planting trees for families devastated by the April 19th, 2023 tornado. We need local volunteers to join us to help plant trees! 

Volunteers will be taught proper tree planting techniques, then arranged into small groups that will be sent to home sites throughout Pottawatomie County to replant large native trees for residents rebuilding from the tornado.

This event will begin at 9:00am with check-in at Oklahoma Baptist University ( 500 W. University St. Shawnee, OK 74804). 

The suggested age for volunteering is 16 (with an adult) and above.
